Description

Updated for Skateboard Bearings

Introducing the "Ultimate Dad Nostalgia Cable Car" – the perfect toy that brings out the engineer in every father. How could any dad possibly resist building this for his child, especially when it reminds him of the cable cars from his own childhood adventures? It's hands-on fun that beats screen time any day! In a world full of digital distractions, this cable car brings back the magic of real, physical play—because nothing beats watching your kids engage their imagination (and fine motor skills) while you proudly declare, “Yep, I built that!” A win-win for the whole family!

Assembly Instructions:
You will need two skateboard bearings (608 size: 8mm inner diameter, 22mm outer diameter, 7mm, width Please use dedicate files) or size is 5mm wide, outer diameter 16mm, inner diameter 5mm, a variety of M3 hex socket screws, M5 and two M8 hex socket screws for securing the wheels with the bearings. To hang the cable car, we recommend using a non-flexible cord or rope, such as Paracord, to ensure smooth and stable operation. Simply insert the bearings into the wheels, attach them using the M8 screws, and secure the rest with the M3 screws. It’s a straightforward build that even your kids can help with—unless, of course, you're having too much fun doing it yourself!

Boost Me (for free)

Oh no, I almost forgot—boost me! I totally need another printer... and screws, of course, how could I forget screws? I mean, what’s a proper addiction without adding just one more machine to the mix, right? Please, I promise this is the last one (maybe)!

For the parts self i would give 5 Stars. But there is a little Work to do to Mount everything together and create parts for mounting All on wardobe or Lego constructions. The missing files for 608 werde provided After comments. Will give only 4 stars because it needs time and its not print and ready. But i will give some boosts. Because the idea and the parts self are great. My son loves it. :)

Yes, the bearings don't fit, I can't get a 16x5 and the part for screwing onto the frame is also different, it's also missing how is one supposed to mount it on the frame? The board in the photo is easily screwable in the print, it's something for the trash, simply not like in the pictures, a shame my grandchild was looking forward to it, I don't understand what's going on

Where should this version be located? The print profile shows the version with the undersized holes. Does the STL also contain the undersized holes?

My children absolutely love the cable car, thank you for that The description for the screws could include the different lengths, that would make assembly easier 😉 It's probably just nitpicking though 😉 as the cable car is truly top-notch Thank you ✌🏼
