Description

Eerie Extruder Upgrade: The Phantom's Gaze

UPDATE: A two-color version has been added to the profiles. It is split to avoid longer print time and poop.
Glue together with two or three dots of super glue, this saves time and poop.

You can find the eye here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/136830?from=search#profileId-148873

Give your Bambu Labs 3D printer a completely new look with our latest creation:

  • Ghostly Visage: A spectral face manifests on the printer's front, creating a supernatural atmosphere
  • Innovative Design: The extruder wheel ingeniously serves as the phantom's piercing eye,
    combining functionality with supernatural flair
  • Meticulous Detailing: Intricate features bring the ghostly design to life

Transform your 3D printing station from the ordinary to the extraordinary. Whether you're a horror enthusiast or simply want to add a touch of the supernatural to your workspace - this extruder cover is guaranteed to be a conversation starter. Turn your A1 or A1 Mini into a fascinating eye-catcher that embodies both functionality and fantasy in equal measure!

Since other designers often draw inspiration from my work, I decided to do the same this time. In my opinion, I've created a very beautiful cover, which I designed entirely from scratch using Fusion360 and Nomad Sculpt.

Printed with PLA in one color, white. Painted everything with Testers model car paint. Including the eye. Sanded the mounting clip area to make it easier to attach. I like the eye looking around when printing. The only thing I would change if I knew how to do it would be the make the eye a little closer to the cover opening. I could pry it off the shaft some and see how it looks.
