New Design Released: Sleek Passport Case by Wet PLA Guru - MakerWorld

A sleek passport case to keep your passport and other important documents safe.

Perfectly fits a passport with a pocket to hold other important documents like IDs, immunization cards, etc. Looks great with effect sheets.

Print in place other than the pocket that snugly slides into lid.

For best results make sure to measure your passport and select the right profile that will fit.

UPDATED! Larger hinge tolerances to reduce hinge breaking after print as well as small tabs on end to keep lid closed at corners.

Let the case cool before releasing hinge after print. See video below on how to release hinge (shouldn't be required after latest update):

I edited the file and added a American Flag to the front and some stripes and printed the rest in clear and it came out great!

Hey there, any chance you could design A version with two or three locking tabs. I can tell that over time this is probably going to not close as well as it could by the edges.

Threw a flag on the front. Holds my passport and fast traveller card! love it. (got a little warping when I close it, but that's likely a my fault thing, I was too eager to take it off the plate)

This was a great print with a lot of care taken into the design. I like that there's ample additional space on the sides so the passport edges aren't torn up by frequent opening and closing of the cover. I also love that there's raised grip aids. The addition of the card holder in the front was a nice touch, and it fits well with the dovetail grooves. The only fault I had with it was that it didn't hold a single piece of laminated paper by itself (my social security card). But hey, that's minor.

Printed a couple of these - some at default sizes and one scaled up for a slightly larger passbook. all of them had issues with the corners staying closed as others have said. there are bumps that seem intended to help with that, but they’re not enough.

Are those brewery passports thicker than the standard passports? I could see if they have more pages it’ll push the top up. did you try any of the other profiles like the taller one?

nope it’s quite thin - even with nothing inside the corners lift up. the top one can be sorta clicked down if you press it but the lower one, where the clip plate thing slides into the inside won’t. the scaling I had to do was for the X/Y dimensions.
