UPDATE (2024-12-02)

If you were having trouble printing the model because of the high overhang angle at the tip, try V2 of the model. The new version rounds the tip of the blade and caps the overhang to 45 degrees.

The Bloodhound's Fang sword from Elden Ring, scaled to be a Dummy 13 weapon.

Curved greatsword with a gently undulating blade wielded by Bloodhound Knights. A fearsome blade capable of brutal airborne attacks.

AMS and single-color 3mf files provided. Prints flat without supports. 0.15mm layer height.

Its mainly adhesion at the tip of the sword at 150% scale. I've cleaned my bed and applied glue but it still warps a lot up there

ah gotcha. the overhang angle on the tip is pretty intense—i made that tradeoff to get the sword looking more game-accurate. i think it's just at the edge of whats feasible at 100% scale. at 150% it's probably too large of an overhang. i can design a version of this with a less pointy tip so the overhang is less severe. thanks for the feedback!

that'll be a little tricky since the handle is closed, so it needs to be assemble-able to slot into the dummy's hand. i'll give it a shot when i get the chance, though! it seems like a fun challenge.

This is increrible. I had read the comments, and a solution for the overhand because the point can be solved priting the blade cut in half like here https://makerworld.com/en/models/906922#profileId-867129 Another improvement cam be separeta the blade from the handle to save some color changes, I tried do it on the slicer, but the handle is too curve to this
