I have 10" incense so I made it bigger and broke it up. added a magnet to the ash catcher. and made it so the incense holdy bit is adjustable with a little screw.

Very nice and the color painting scheme. I like it! I also have 10" incense sticks. Would you be willing to share your stls?

I second this. File(s) for this would be much appreciated

Incredible! It would be amazing if you would share your files. I'd love to print this for my best friend's birthday.

I improved the design a little bit, takes less filament, can hold longer sticks (270mm), has a thinner profile, can still use the same size ash tray (overhangs, which looks cool) and has a thru hole now so you can push the stick up even higher. Thinking about adding a clip to the top to hold it, then I could make a bigger hole and have one size fits all. Will share the mod/file if you like.

Im weirdly stumbling onto this right after you post this, but do you know if this can fit cypress sticks? The long incense that don’t have a stick

I don't think so. You would need to put a larger hole and then you would have the problem if it melting the plastic when it gets to the top. My wife had larger incense sticks (still with the stick) which is why I made this, also with a thru hole so you would poke it all the way through. My other idea is for some kind of clip on top, so you could make that hole larger and accommodate all different thicknesses. Lovely design by original author, I just needed a bit more flexibility. I provided a profile above if you want to try it.

If you're using the textured PEI plate you might want to try the smooth one with liquid glue stick. This is user error (bed adhesion issue). I would never print something this top heavy on a textured PEI plate. I have the brim and support for the top overhang and it works perfectly fine for me. If your using a plate where the adhesion isn't good or known, then change the support angle to 45 degrees so you it has supports all the way up. It will use twice the filament though. EDIT: Wait a minute, that's an A1? There's your problem. It's a bed slinger! lol, of course you need to add those 45 degree supports. Mine is an X1 core x/y, so it's not flinging back and forth like yours. Removed the A1 and added a note (if you want to print on a bed slinger, think about adhesion and physics first), this was designed for an X1/P1

I used a profile you sliced for this printer type. it’s not user error, it’s a bad profile. stop taking offence and accept that it’s a genuine review. I’ve printed plenty of models with this orientation as have others, you jus have to make sure the supports are thought through. clearly that wasn’t the case here

It's a bad profile for an A1, which is why I removed the A1 tag (my bad there). Just use common sense and logic. You will get to know your printer after using it for a while, especially a bed slinger. I remember printing a millennium falcon on my ender-3, the entire piece was upright (pointing up) and large. By the time it got near the end the bed slinger flung it over. That was a lesson learned.

Had to drill out the hole just a bit to fit our incense but no big deal! I could have printed the bigger one.

Hello, I have the same problem. How did you enlarge the hole? I’m afraid of making it too big.

Small drill bit. Start small and work your way up until it fits. Put in 3-4 walls and you have plenty of room to drill.

Tricky to print on a A1 mini, will be printing on a bigger machine so take full advantage of it now! I used a hot needle to open the hole a bit more and now the incense stick fits perfectly

print wasn't 100% perfect on final layer on top, specifically in one corner. but not excessively noticeable. looks great and very happy with it
