Description

On FilamentWizards design noticed a screenshot of a trading card storage box that is 3 of the regular boxes combined, however when i downloaded the file it doesnt fit the Bambulab build bed at all.
I redesigned it, combining it with all my tweaks that i applied to the regular boxes and i made it fit the bed, Barely!

Please note that printing a object that is as big as this comes with warping challanges!
Even if your layer adhesion is great the print will yust pull up the corners of the magnetic build plate !

The print profile i uploaded has reduced cooling to reduce this effect. but it might be needed to tape the magnetic build plate to the machine.

I love the box. I definitely had the dreaded warping issue with my first print but when I started thinking about warp like this I thought I would try the fuzzy skin setting to greatly reduce the amount of long straight lines and it worked like a charm. I highly recommend it to everyone for this model. I added a modifier to the area where the lid goes to prevent fuzzy skin there.

What do I need to improve to be worth 5 stars?

The box design is great, I had only some problems with the spacers. When moving the box, the spacers get lose and can jump out so the cards can get messy. Perhaps a bit higher spacers could solve it. When the spacers stuck between top and box they won’t get loose.

Great print! Had to tweak just a tad to ensure everything was fitting well on my plate but overall very happy with this!

Love mine! I'm going to print another. It feels confident and (obviously) holds a ton of cards. Took my time and set it to high quality with PETG. I'd love your take on deck boxes! I feel like there's one I found that is close, Having enough space for 150 compressed sleeved cards and a wide d20 die with 2 extra notches would be amazing. I imagine the whole case has adjustable increments just like this and uses the same separators. Just enough for a big night of magic and things for everyone to have a better game.
