Description

As much as I loved the original dock from Scott Yu-Jan, I bought a 16 Pro and wanted a dock that would fit this + the silicone case as well as my Apple Watch. This was created based on multiple requests for something that works with the 16 Pro Max.

This has been remixed to allow for a second magsafe puck to be thrown on the very back of the dock to allow for watch charging without impacting the aesthetics of the original dock too much, or requiring you remove a watch band to use the magsafe charger.

I also decreased the diameter of the phone magsafe charger to fit more snugly as the original came out several times.

Lastly I added indentation as well as files to print TPU feet for the dock to prevent this from sliding around. These can also be used to cut out adhesive silicone for fitting as well.

As per original creator this 3D model is not for commercial use.

This model mostly worked for me. Pros: * iPhone 16 Pro Max with Apple silicon Case fits great * Apple Watch charger works with watch band attached. * TPU feet are a nice add on. Cons: * This was designed for the older iPhone 15 watt MagSafe cable. I have the new 25 watt cable which is slightly smaller. I printed a 55mm x 2mm piece of TPU and glued it in place. * The MagSafe connector for the center AirPods section needs to be the USB C version (thinner than original USB A). I had an old USB A version that I wanted to use since the AirPods don’t fast charge anyway. * I had to drill a hole behind the Apple Watch mount to put the cable through. for whatever reason the model printed a solid wall like it wasn’t extruded out, I don’t think it was blocked with support or anything.

Thanks, looks like there was an issue with the model, I will reupload with the extruded watch portion. Also you're right about the magsafe puck, I can upload a second version that supports the new smaller pad. Appreciate the feedback!

Oh I’d really appreciate it if there was a pressfit option for the new magsafe pick. thanks for fixing the issue with the extrusion too. I’m sure that will make life a lot easier for everyone.

when would you expect the reuploaded improved version? I want to print this but am waiting for time to be able to use it in its best state.

@ahanix Hello, I made one last night and it printed well and looks amazing. Thank you. I do have a request, my wife and I have Spigen Cases her’s is a Spigen Classic C1 MagSafe Case and mine is a Spigen Tough Armor AI MagSafe Case, the measurements for her’s case from Spigen are 3.30 x 6.67 x 0.55 inches. My case is only -.01 smaller height wise so I’m sure mine would fit with her measurements. Is there anyway you could design the iPhone opening to fit 3.30 x 6.67 x 0.55 inches. I would really appreciate it. I don’t know how to use fusion 360 to make it bigger myself. Thanks you!

Are you willing to share the CAD files for this. I love the design but need to adjust the parameters for my particular phone case. In addition, my case has a different radius around the corners that I need to compensate for.

Any chance you can share the Fusion file behind this? Not so familiar with editing a step file. I have my parameters set for the original which fits the phone + case perfectly, but I really want to use yours with the watch cut out.

Oh man: I would love to have this design for my iPhone 15 Pro Max with Apple case. The version I printed has issues with the Magsafe not charging, and this version can't go wrong.

I compared my 15 Pro Max with the 16 Pro Max from a co-worker, and it seems the 16 is slightly bigger by a few mm in height. So I guess this model will work with the 15 Pro Max, with a little bit of slack, but nothing serious. The corners have the same radius, so that won't be an issue.

Model prints perfectly, but this dock doesn't fit with basically any of my wifes 9 cases for her iphone 12 Pro Max, it would be awesome if there was a little divot, cutout or trench for the power and volume since they end up triggering the shutdown screen anytime it goes in the dock. Either way, it's a pretty and awesome model, and i'm sure a scale up by like 3-5% in Orca would solve the issues, just wish i didn't have to waste more of my nice filament lol oh well. Thanks a ton for the model!

I love how you have the apple watch charger exposed in the middle. Are you able to make one for an iPhone 15 Pro with case? Thanks

Can someone help me out? I really want this print for my iPhone 15 Pro Max with cover, and I'm trying to make some changes in Tinkercad or Fusion 360 but it doesn't do anything. I'm just a noob apparently. If someone can help me out with this, I would be grateful. The dimensions of my phone with cover: 16.3mm x 8.3mm.
