Description

This is a cute mini spool keychain that can hold an AirTag, featuring a nice appearance and easy assembly.

This holder does not cover the mirrored part of the AirTag, so it won't affect the speaker's functionality.

Mini Spool Keychain for AirTag ## Overall Assessment The Mini Spool Keychain for AirTag is an excellent project deserving significant attention within the 3D printing community. Its innovative design blends functionality and style, offering a sleek solution for housing an AirTag. ## Strengths - Creative and functional design - Excellent integration with the AirTag - Well-conceived overall execution - Aesthetically pleasing final result ## Important Technical Note During print tests with an A1 Mini printer, an aspect requiring attention was identified: ### Encountered Issue The original layout positions all components on a single print bed. One of the pieces, positioned too close to the bed edges, undergoes deformation due to uneven temperature distribution in that area. ### Implemented Solution The issue was resolved with two possible approaches: 1. Printing the critical component separately 2. Repositioning the component towards the center of the print bed ### Suggestions for the Author Two alternative solutions are proposed for future project revisions: - Distribute the print across two separate beds - Modify the layout on the print bed, positioning all components in areas with more uniform temperatures ## Conclusion This feedback is not intended as negative criticism but as a constructive contribution to further enhance an already excellent project. The report aims to optimize the printing experience for all users who wish to create this keychain. The project remains highly recommended for its overall quality and practicality, requiring only minor adjustments in the printing process to ensure optimal results.

very good profile, loved how the different color is printed separately. I recommend using different textured filaments for the varied texture. i used bambu matte white for the spool, and for the filament i used the glossier esun pla+, which was nice. will try with other filaments, such as translucent petg! although if there’s a possible improvement, for ams users, it would be to have all colors in a single plate and print by object (which would not waste filament during color swap).

Looks good but the parts have very weird and unnecessary spacing on the print bed. Also it’s impossible to close without sanding a tiny bit. Overall great though.
