Description

This 3D-printable side-release snap buckle is expertly remix designed of “Strong Printable Snap Buckle” for optimal strength and functionality. Both sides of the buckle print flat on the bed, ensuring layer lines are oriented for maximum durability. No supports are needed during printing, making the process efficient and clean.

Three versions are available to fit standard strap widths of 2 cm (0.75 inch), 2.5 cm (1 inch), and 3.2 cm (1.25 inch). The 2.5 cm version is featured in most images. While PLA prints work well, PETG offers even better durability and performance.

Needed it to replace the one on my son's backpack. 20mm was too big, scaled to 75% and that was perfect. Thanks. cons: didn't have the whistle built in that the original backpack had in the buckle. pro: see con. 8yr olds and readily available whistles are terrible combinations.

It works really well, perfect fit! I would love a similar one to another backpack where both the straps are adjustable. Is it possible to release a design that has the "ragged" end on the female part as well, marked in purple in the picture?

Hello, I like your model, but unfortunately it is impossible to attach it to work trousers because of the angled openings. Could you create one where the opening is straight, so that it can be threaded more easily, thanks.

Hi thanks for your feedback I added the straight cut as new plate in print profile you can find also the stl files with straight cut on stl section.

20mm was too big on this REI backpack my 8yr old wears, so I shrunk it to 75% which worked great. we rock climb and hike pretty often so this will be our go-to replacement buckle.
