All joints are threaded, even the tyres. Three tools are available for assembling/disassembling the bolts axles and wheels.
The propellers turn as the gyrocopter is pushed forward. The nose wheel is designed as a castor wheel.
Printing
I printed with PLA, 0.16 mm layer height, 5 perimeters.
Parts A, B, E, F, G are printed with support.
Parts C, I, L are printed with brim.
Parts D, H are printed with support and brim.
No glueing, no metal parts.
Choise of 2 cowlings.
Choise of 2 engines: boxer or radial.
Dimensions: 215 x 85 x 169 mm.
Weight: 0.12 kg.
Assembly
Assembly is in alphabetical order ( parts A → L ).
The desired position of the gear on the rear axle can be locked by means of a counternut.
For better traction O-rings can be fitted to the “J2 - Wheels for O-rings.stl”.
