Description

If you mounted your AMS Lite like I did, with the cord exiting at the bottom, then the filament position numbers would be upside down. To correct this, I made some cover buttons with number nomenclature corrected. I used Bambu PLA gray sparkle color and it matched very well. For the numbers, I used Bambu silk gold which also matched well; additionally the silk gold is very opaque and stands out well. I used a semi-transparent white PLA for the triangle shape where the LED shines through; you could alternately use a transparent filament, or set the triangle objects, in the slicer, not to print.

I attached the cover buttons with 3M 9495MP Adhesive Transfer Tape.

I was a little disappointed when I first printed these out - I assumed they were snap-on covers like others I had seen, so the need to tape them on was a bit of a let down - HOWEVER, now that they're on, I absolutely love them and appreciate how they don't even look like aftermarket covers - especially with the Bambu dark gray PETG HF filament. The opening for the light to shine through a transparent filament was one if the key things that drew me to this model. Thank you for sharing it with us!

That looks great - nice color scheme! I'm glad it worked out for you with the tape attachment. I also like the way they look like they belong. How are you liking those filament enclosures? Is it easy enough access for changing and loading filaments?

Thanks! I'm REALLY liking the enclosure - it's a tiny bit less convenient to change spools (we're talking maybe an extra 5-10 seconds per spool), but I printed it in PETG so it does have some good strength and some flex, which I think is helpful when changing them out. It's DEFINITELY working to keep the humidity off my spools while I'm printing, so the minor inconvenience, to me, is more than worth it to not have to dry my spools as often!

its perfect👍 and exactly what i was looking for. my AMS is upside down due to the wire being short and the orientation of the numbers where right side up for my situation, since it is permanently on the wall I glued them on

works great! I just used some superglue to hold them on my AMS Lite Mini since it flips them upside down.

Nice design. If removing the triangles, it doesn't fit perfectly, though.
