Description

Retro looking stand designed to passively amplify audio signal from Iphone 14 pro. The dimensions of phone are including basic plastic protection case (can hold the phone without case too). The stand includes very long tapered horn design which amplifies sound of the phone speaker significantly. You can hear your notifications way louder or listen to retro music in a true retro fashion :-) no extra power needed for operation!

The main horn print needs to cool down slowly after printing. Please do not remove build plate from printer immediately after print finished, do not rush this step and leave it cool down slowly. Respect wide brim used in 3mf print files attached, else the horn would warp when cooling down and it will make it very difficult to glue properly. After removing and cleaning excess material, glue the Horn halves together using classic CA glue or epoxy. There are 3 holes for short pins (toothpicks) to help you guide glue process. Fit the finished horn to stand socket and rotate to your like. When you are satisfied with a position, glue the horn to the stand.

Enjoy the music!

I am sorry to hear that, you really need to cool down slowly to prevent warping and use high-quality filament. I have uploaded new print profile with horn printed in one go, so you can try that one if you are still having problems. Enjoy!

The horn halves did warp. A full horn design would have been nice.

I’d love to see this with a longer tube (graduating cylinder). If you wind the tube around in the base more you can get more length and hence a warmer tone.
