I’m new to this. while it is printing the duck it is also printing a block behind it. what is that for?

the prime tower is used in models with multi color prints. it’s to ensure the nozzle is loaded with material and fully ready to print. it’s not needed on solo color prints (the last guys comment not explaining it bothered me lol)

great model, thank you! Had to print on slower speed and with increase bed temp as first attempt didn't adhere properly.

you haven’t updated the firmware have you? it caused issues with bed adhesion with the latest update. literally just knocks stuff off. if you have updated already I’d roll back

brand new printer, so yes I took the update. upping the bed temp slightly fixed it, but stringing a bit now. Will look at rolling back, thanks

fresh from the printer seemed to have a lot of waste from switching back and forth but I really don’t see a better way to run this I would suggest running multiple at the same time even though it adds time just to make up for the multiple purges white and black is from this print
