Amazing, Brilliant and Outstanding are the first 3 words that come to mind when I use this micrometer stand. Then I would like to lick at it... Just kidding ;-) It has become so easy to operate the micrometer screw while being able to hold the workpiece to be measured. No tipping over or instability noted. Simply perfectly thought out and also perfectly designed. I changed the color after 5mm to highlight this beauty even more. Thank you very much for sharing. You will receive a double Boost.

Thank you, just what I needed, a very well designed and practical mic holder. 10/10 My micrometer has a shiny cover on the anvil which causes it to slip so I just glued a piece of leather inside the clip, now grips well. If I had to make an improvement suggestion - fillets inside the trays to make small parts easier to remove? Thanks again, great design.

Wonderful that you like it The idea of the rounded bottom in the shelf is excellent I will see when I can implement it

The print is great, but it would be helpful to note that you need a thread. Not everyone has one in stock. But I have ordered one and then I can finish it. Thanks for the file.

Hello, everything is described in the description! I do not understand the rating, the holder is only intended for the feeler gauge screw. Not for larger ones. Unfortunately, I cannot understand the deficiency.

Hello, I adore the design, but the additional screws/nuts hinder my realization. Would it be conceivable to use printable threads such as those found here: https://makerworld.com/models/386963 That would be a dream

I attempted this, but the printed threads break off To ensure a firm hold, a steel screw and a fused thread are necessary Why does the screw connection impede?

Replying to @HarzFear :
The model I linked works perfectly with the printed screw and holds exceptionally well This hinders me because I don’t want to buy screws and nuts for every model Different diameters, lengths, etc I also don’t have threaded inserts Instead I use hexagonal nuts on the opposite side or include them during printing Would you share the CAD file As a STEP file Then I could adapt it to a screw size I have available Remixing with STL unfortunately doesn’t work for me

That's precisely why I don't upload CAD files Unfortunately, it has happened before that only a lettering (two characters) was added to my model and it was published as a remix
