Description

A Gameboy color case for the airpod pro Gen 1 and 2, straight from my childhood!

There is models for both the multi-color version, and the standard if you prefer to not switch colors.

If you don't have an AMS, and want to print multicolor, the model is set to print with the other colors last, and at different heights. You will only need to change filaments twice. You can find this in the print profile labeled "manual". Quality may vary using this method due to decreased layers, and filament and color translucence. Darker colors are recommended for the last two steps.

The base will hold the airpod case on its own, but, as with most airpod pro cases, you will need a small piece of double sided tape to securely hold the lid on.

It is very important that you clean the supports off in the multi color print. It is a tight fit and and leftover support material may cause the case to crack when inserting your headphones. I find a metal file is best for a tough filament like PETG since the inside will not be seen. It can be printed without supports like the single colored version, but it will have over 200 color changes at the .2 layer height

If you need help getting your airpods out of the case, you can find my removal tool here https://makerworld.com/en/models/840995#profileId-787099

Enjoy!

Great model, printed perfectly on the first run with Silver Red and Black, my only concern is it fits too perfectly, making it near impossible to remove the AirPods case from the model without either damaging the case, or the model itself. For me this isn’t an issue since I love the way it came out, but I think the inside could afford some very slight additional hollowing, maybe rounding off the corners, and adding a small hole to see the indicator light on the AirPods case

Came out fantastic. Didn't use any support material, but it cleaned up easily enough. Fits perfectly on my AirPods Pro 1 case
