Description

Snap fabric is a modular fabric that can easily be snapped together, reused, and made into many shapes.

To assemble snap fabric, take two pieces and use the holes in their connectors to snap them together.

It's a remix from the NASA JPL fabric, which was originally not modular. This model is cut, decimated, smoothed, and simplified for a better model.

Do not use Arachne as the wall generator, pieces come out harder to work with.

This looks and feels so cool. I’m going to try to make a shirt out of it because I have nothing better to do with my life.

sad to hear you didn't have a good experience :( Are you printing with the style or strong profile? I'd also recommend drying your filament (or trying a different spool) if you're at all able, since that would increase tensile strength. These pieces are generally weaker due to the disconnected end, which sacrifices some strength for customizability, but I didn't find it so bad that nothing can be assembed? My pieces took some force to break

I printed with strength and my filament is fully dry and it's not a printer problem my a1 mini is fine but it's ok it doesn't matter much I don't need these so no need to re design it's all fine

Other Issues:Might be a problem on my side but 3 of them came out with broken 'legs' burnt at the end. (If this is a me problem how do I fix it?)

That's quite odd, never seen that before and I don't believe that's an issue on my end. Are you using the right temp for your filament, anything weird in the ptfe tube?

good design and print, thanks. found it is not as strong as normal pieces (obviously) due to links not being attached both ends but very useful.
