Description

Here's another skull project for the holloween.. This time I made suspended floating skulls..

I used the same skull for the skull dispenser that i modelled and turned it into a suspended project..

The whole suspended skulls comes into 2 parts.. the suspended skulls and the base..

Please be careful when getting the skulls off the plate.. i nicked a few strings off while getting it of the plate myself..

I only used 2 colors for the multicolor print since i didnt have enough filament for the whole print but 3 colors would have been way better..

i used grey and red.. but i think if you change the grey to white would also work.. and adding black color to the frame.. If you want to use the bambu filament.. please use my affiliate link to buy them..:

But i recommend adding black to the frame color so that the red color would pop out more

i did mine in Black & Red, came out great 😊just finished early hours this morning. Came off the plate no problem at all. Used Sunlu PLA+

used the white and red plates. both the skulls and base plate printed perfectly. I did use outer brim and auto tree support for this print

This project looks awesome! I attempted to print it the first time using normal supports, which appears to have been a mistake. Normal support makes it almost impossible to remove supports from the strings without breaking at least a few. I will continue to attempt to remove them, but I suspect that user_3007757395's suggestion to use tree supports is the correct approach. I'll post my results and pics if I'm able to remove supports, or will reprint using tree supports.

Update: yeah, I'm an idiot. Tree supports FTW! I'll post pics when it's finished, but the print looks perfect and I will have no trouble removing the supports.

some layers had filament issues (wrong color printed) but otherwise printed fine!
