This year at Halloween he’s catching Ghosts

Reproduction object of movie

Reproduced through photos from the film Ghostbuster 80s, this is one of the various components of the set-up

Colour:

Assembly

I have reduced the use of glue so that only a few drops will be needed. All components are designed with M3 x 4.8mm sockets to be screwed together.

For optimum quality.

The best way to achieve optimum quality is to use a 0.4 nozzle and use smooth plate.

The print does not need any supports, only plate 04 needs tree supports as in photo configure as in photos and you will have a great print.

Ho ridotto l'uso della colla in modo che siano necessarie solo poche gocce. Tutti i componenti sono progettati con boccole M3 da 4,8 mm da incastrare nei fori del corpo principale (Piatto 1), gli altri componenti hanno il preforo per la viti.

Per una qualità ottimale.

Il modo migliore per ottenere una qualità ottimale è quello di utilizzare un ugello 0,4 e utilizzare un piatto liscio.

I componenti della stampa non hanno bisogno di alcun supporto, solo il piatto 04 necessita di supporti ad albero, configurate come in foto e avrete una stampa perfetta.

Created to celebrate last Halloween, it has been great to enjoy the assembly. I added an inner drawer to store a small smoke machine with a portable battery. The next step will be to create the door opening action.

being a cheapskate i didnt want to use my nutserts, so i used a sprinkle of baking powder on one part and CA glue (superglue) on the other for an instant, strong bond. (be warned the bond is almost instant ! ) I then drilled a large hole through it to pass a USB plug out the end and fitted a colour changing LED puck light. I glued magnets into the handle mount plate and the box so the handle plate can be removed and used to store the remote control and wiring when not in use, although this does mean you cant pick it up by the handle.

Mega Design, easy to print, I recommend using an effect plate, I used one with a carbon look, but here you have to pay attention to the orientation of the objects. Possibly mirror and split to glue the whole thing together afterwards.

I've been building a 65%scale proton pack for my son (age 5), I am glad to see others have found this to be the right scale for a smaller kid size project. This is in the queue to print and I will update once I have a completed one, so awesome!

Out of curiosity, is the proton pack available on MakerWorld? my son's Ghostbusters costume is almost complete and this would be great compared to the low quality one I'd need to buy. thanks!
