Description

Mushrooms!

Here are four cute little mushrooms. My print profile is AMS painted and has a plate with all four on it. It also has 4 other plates with a mushroom per plate for individual printing. The mushrooms on individual plates are using variable layer height.

I tried with tree supports and I broke them trying to remove the supports. Normal supports are a little challenging to remove too, but if you take your time its not that bad, the main trick being to do a kinda vertical cut in the supports. If you break the “circle” they detach quite easily. Top Z distance is at 0.22 which helps a lot.

Thank you for the beautiful file! Tree supports worked much much better for me. One minute for support removal and no scarring, versus over 10 minutes to remove standard support.

I had fun printing those. Cyan ones are from first print - three at back printed fine, but supports fell off the back of the front one, but the print otherwise worked. I tried two more times (the Yellow and Meganta ones, and supports still fell off. I was using tree supports, even though you said not to, but I wanted to do that, as like a learning exercise. And even in single color they have enough detail to look pretty. Great models!

The regular supports are a bit of a pain to remove, but it turned out alright in the end.
