The Texel Lighthouse (also known as the Eierland Lighthouse) is one of the most iconic landmarks on the island of Texel, located in the northern part of the Netherlands in the North Sea. Built in 1864, this lighthouse stands at the northern tip of Texel, where the North Sea and the Wadden Sea meet. It was constructed to help sailors navigate safely through these dangerous waters.

About the Texel Lighthouse (The real structure) :

Height: It is 35 meters tall and stands 45 meters above sea level.
View: Visitors who climb the lighthouse can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of both the North Sea and the Wadden Sea. On clear days, neighboring islands like Vlieland and Terschelling are visible.
History: During World War II, this area was under German occupation, and in 1945, fierce battles took place around the lighthouse. It suffered significant damage but was restored after the war and reopened for use.
Visiting: Today, the Texel Lighthouse is a popular tourist attraction. Visitors can climb its 118 steps to learn about its history while exploring the surrounding area.

Very nicely designed! Fun to make and it looks cozy. Two tips that do not detract from the whole: the magnets at the top are less functional, I glued them. It would be nice if the lighthouse lamp had a larger fitting. Rechargeable tea lights do not fit in there, that would make it more functional. Furthermore, I am curious about the next design!
