Description

I had a lot of fun designing this. PLEASE enjoy in your home this Halloween as part of your decor. Also remember to Check out my other video game themed items here!

The build plate has several options for you, even if you don't have an AMS, this is a fairly simple paint job you can do yourself:

I'm a bit of a scatterbrain, and Bambu Studio doesn't quite have the ability to move plate positions (but I'm sure its coming…) so, let me help with a bit of explanation here.

Jack, there are 6 colors. Noooooooo!

  • Don't fret. Luckily carved pumpkins naturally will have a “cut top". We'll use this to our advantage, and have the stem (🟩) print separately.
  • That's 5 colors. Now, I recommend (and have profiled) Kirby's eye shimmer to print as a pink dot instead of white dot. Use a common household item to turn Kirbys eye shimmer white after its done. Whiteout, paint, nail polish, or a white chalk marker does the job well, and only needs a dot's worth.
  • That makes it 4 colors. Very AMS-able:

Have 1 AMS?

  • 6 Kirbys. 1 AMS. 4 Colors. (Default x6 Profile)
  • I Recommend printing the “Default” plates. There are two styles. A 6x Kirby+Tops, or 1x Kirby+Top. Obviously, your best bang for the buck is shoving as many on here as you can, since the amount of waste will be the same. I found 6 Kirbys was a good number, and clocks in at about 18 hours. (A singular clocks juts shy of 12 hours). There will be ~351 color changes.

Have 2 AMS?

  • I recommend printing the “Singular Piece Perfection," since this will be a set-it and forget-it operation due to the 6 color demand.

Have 0 AMS?

  • Prints as a singular piece AND only takes 1 hour. 👍
  • This is a fairly simplistic paint job.
    • I recommend painting in the following order so your paint overlaps in a way that makes mistakes less noticeable:
      • Orange (Pumpkin)
      • Pink (Face, Hands)
      • Red (Feet, Face blush)
      • Black (Eyes, Mouth, Jack-o'-lantern Eyes)
      • White (Eye Shimmer)
      • Green (Stem)

The “rear peg” model was an experiment to see if I could print it with less color changes. Avoid. (I left it because I didn't want to monkey with the plate order xD).

ENJOY!

if you painted him for the and with the white eyes make it red and make the green red. because they are at major different layers add a pause and switch the filaments. switch the same slot in the ams from red to white to green.
