McDonnell Douglas/Boeing C-17 Globemaster III

Description: The C-17 is a modern, strategic and tactical airlift aircraft with a high-wing design and four turbofan engines, capable of carrying large payloads over long distances and operating from short, unimproved airstrips. It features advanced avionics and a rear-loading ramp for rapid deployment.
Development History: Developed by McDonnell Douglas (later acquired by Boeing), the C-17 first flew in 1991 and entered service in 1995. It was designed to fulfill both strategic and tactical airlift requirements, capable of transporting troops, vehicles, and oversized cargo.
Major Accomplishments: The C-17 has been instrumental in U.S. military operations, providing rapid airlift capabilities in conflicts such as Iraq and Afghanistan. It has also played a significant role in humanitarian missions, including disaster relief efforts. Its versatility, reliability, and ability to operate in challenging environments have made it one of the most important transport aircraft in the U.S. military fleet.

The Model

Attaching the engine to the pylon requires to hook the front portion into the engine, then rotate and snap it into place.

The winglets will need to be glued.

Other than that, this aircraft will go together beautifully for you and may not even require glue! Please refer to the pictures for details, but things should make sense if you test fit them first.

two of the engines failed so I didn’t put them on but besides that it was good

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. may I ask how they failed? I may update the profile with a slower initial layer speed to help with that.

Other Issues:parts don’t fully nest, so some gluing is required

I did mention in the description it may require glue, as with all of these types of models since these tight tolerances can vary from printer to printer. You may want to see if you're setup to print outer/inner vs. inner/outer. Another thing you may want to try is scaling the thickness of the trouble parts by 1-2%.
