Boost Me (for free)

Thank you for supporting my work, if you boost me the model will be more frightening... I think.
have nice day 😉

A small gadget ideal for scaring your family or friends. 😱

This box sits on top of a door, when the latter is opened a spider falls on the victim, screams are guaranteed.

ARMING

The arming of the system is done as follows:

→ Pull the string from the top to raise the spider in the box

→ Lock the trap by pressing on it (be careful not to block the spider)

→ Store the string on top of the box.

The trap is ready, the door can be closed (the trap does not activate), the next victim who opens the door will be trapped.

ASSEMBLY

Materials needed: Double-sided tape, small elastic and string

→ Glue the plate to the inside of the box (it allows to separate the string from the spider, avoids knots) this plate may not be glued

→ Clip the pulley onto the trap axle (pay attention to the direction)

→ Position an elastic band on the cam, then insert the cam into its slot (place the word “front” visible) and finally clip the end of the axle.

→ Attach the string to the spider as well as to the box, on the upper hole (be careful the string must go through the central hole)

→ Finally place a piece of double-sided tape at the back (screws can be used for wall mounting)

→ Adjust the positioning of the box so that the actuator does not block in the door. The contact should be about 5mm (depending on the configuration of the door frame)

For arming the system see above.

Perfect! I hope the trap will work. 2 might be possible, but without the lid, it could be more, worth trying. 😁 Why not make another version with multiple spiders?

Prints well, the trap door prints in place and the few supports break away very easily. There was a tiny support or blemish inside the hole where trap door connects stopping it opening, but was easily pushed out with a small knife.
