The prodigal son is born.
Do you need a little packout box? Do you enjoy a little zynarooskie? Do you also like or use Milwaukee packout tools and boxes?
This box has been designed to use no screws or hardware (for the base box) and will perfectly hold any materials, or two cans of zyn. I have added two boxes, with and without logo if you do not want to do a multi color print. The box also has a locking clip which holds the lid closed securely.
I have also added a slightly modified packout mount from the amazing CK Designs, and you can find his original model here https://makerworld.com/en/models/157538?from=search#profileId-172903
In order to not compromise the internal size of the box, I have added chambers for the screw heads under the mount, and two M4 x 10 screws is all you need to attached the mount to the box. If you really want to make it sturdy, the bottom is thick enough for a M4*4*6 threaded insert, but you will have to make the holes bigger.
Please note the orientation does matter. Looking at the latch of the box, the arrow on the mount should be pointed at the left side, and the larger holes should be visible from the bottom. This will ensure the box goes on straight when secured, and the latch will be on the inside for most packout boxes, so as not to open in transport.
The arms are friction fit. No glue required. This means a little bit of force will be required to get them in. Light taps from a hammer or lighter tool should work nicely. If you prefer to glue them in, you can downscale them and do it that way as well.
There is also a can insert in case you just want to rock one can, or to have a space for your used pouches that can be easily cleaned.
The box should scale up easily if you want to use it for other things. Just ensure you do a uniform scale as moving up in one direction may compromise the hinge and locking mechanism. Also note that the holes will no longer line up with the mount. You will need to make new holes 3.5mm in diameter and 28.4mm apart. This can be done by right clicking on the box, adding a negative part, select cylinder, and sizing them accordingly with the scale tool.
