Description

Since I received a kit to make a clock with my BambuLab A1 Mini, which unfortunately is larger than the printer's surface, I decided to make myself a beautiful modern clock that fits the size of the printer and looks perfect on my wall. I also managed to use everything from the kit that I got from BambuLab.

The clock is designed for multicolor printing with the AMS system, but I printed it in a single color since I don't have an AMS. I am currently collecting Bambu points to afford one. Therefore, I would be very grateful if everyone who likes my design could send a boost token. If I have any, you can expect a gift in return :)

My 1st 2 color print w/o an AMS and how I did it. Select the correct file to your printer. Download the AMS file Choose correct nozzle, plate, and filament color Delete the hour and second hand (do it later) Face.stl_2 is the number color (3 layers) Delete Face.stl_1 which is the frame Print the face As soon as it's done (hotswap) unload the face color and load the frame color before it has a chance to cool down some. DO NOT REMOVE OR MOVE ANYTHING ON THE BED Reload the original file. Delete Face.stl_2 the number color Turn off support (color face is the support) Turn off bed leveling, calibration, etc... (You do not want the print head dancing around in your freshly printed stuff) Print it. Dance around in your seat watching to see if the printer messes up the number color, lol. It doesn't. I'm not sure if my printer model has LIDAR but it didn't even scratch the number color face. Measure the clock mechanism box. Run to Hobby Lobby for a clock kit. Print whatever clock hands you want or use the ones with the HL kit. Make sure they'll fit. Hang it on the wall.

excellent design. rating 4 instead of 5 because of the silly ironing that is enabled in the print profile on a side you won’t ever see. this adds like 30 min to the print time…. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if the designer updates the print profile I’ll change to five stars because it deserves it.
