This work is inspired by the great work of DocLex https://makerworld.com/en/@DocLex
After creating the owl I felt I could do a penguin too.
Remember that you will need to print a “neck” piece, you can print one from the models of DocLex or use my Toilet Pets fix for smaller toilet paper centers https://makerworld.com/en/models/461597#profileId-370343 that solves problem of attaching to toilet paper rolls with small centers. |
I'm not a 3D modeller, so here's how I've got up with this model.
I started drawing a vector idea in 2D using the mirror mode of Affinity Designer 2. Having lost a lot of hours while designing the owl I was a little more experienced and it was faster.
After I was satisfied of the result I exported this colourless as SVG and imported it into Autodesk Fusion 360 where I started building a 3D version from it. This time I had expercience in what I was doing.
I got the Fusion project to be simpler and cleaner and easier.
