Hello!
I got inspired by @Atro 's design on MakerWorld so I would encourage you to check him out aswell!
This model is based on a ancient pillar picutre I found online, it could be of either Roman or Greek origins. I'm not entirely sure but please do let me know what style this is!
This is model is print in place with natural (tree) supports on!
When it's finished printing the middle will be stuck a little bit because of the top part of the pillar which needs supports.
Just push the middle part out with a screwdriver or something sturdy and it should come out pretty easily!
The middle part will probably stop a little bit in the beginning but please fidget with it for like 5 minutes and the part will be very loose like mine!
I believe this happens due the not perfect overhangs from the top part of the pilar. Little bits of filament “sag” down into the spinning chamber part of the model and they disturb the flow, again it will loosen up pretty fast after a few minutes of fidgeting!
Print settings:
I personally used 0.16mm layer height since that way I get more details from my design, but you can use 0.2mm layer height without any issues! I will also add a 0.2 profile for a faster print.
Hope you enjoy this design and happy fidgeting!
