these are so cool but please make a version where you don’t need so many color changes

How would that work since these are pretty accurate to how the Pokemon look?

there are many models where they’re printed in pieces and then assembled to save on filament changes. I’ll post a very well engineered example of pokeballs done this way

this designer always makes models that do not require the AMS and the models work really well. https://makerworld.com/models/605032 I hope my tone isn’t coming off the wrong way. the magnets are amazing. I just personally find it hard to bring myself to waste so much filament on any model unless I’m mass printing them and in this case I won’t be. was simply a request. thank you~~ whether you do it or not 😊

I simply used Bambu Studio. I added 4 cylinders and I used the subtract function

These Pokemon butt magnets are so cute and funny! I made all of them using my new A1 Combo. These were the first things I printed with the AMS and they really helped me learn how to swap and manage filament. They all printed great with your profiles. I used Bambu PLA Matte for all the prints. I made a bunch of these to give away to friends. Thanks for sharing these models!

Psyduck (10x3mm Magnet)
there is a problem with the coloring for Psyduck’s black butt. there is a layer of black directly underneath the yellow below his butt which shows through. looking through other print pics in the comments, I see the same problem.

It's flushing into the infill.. since this model dosn't have as many color changes, i think you can turn that option off and be OK. if you turn that of, then it won't dump the black color in that spot anymore.

it isn’t though. I believe it is caused by bambu studio paint function and how it “roots” the black coloring into the body below it. the solution would be to separate the butthole from the main body and colorize it as a separate body. i have done lots of studio painting and it seems to be a design flaw in the program.

@dresende thanks for the feedback, this was my first time making a magnet and I wanted to make sure there a little extra room for the magnet to fit in ( : noted for next time!

it’s actually quite ok. I usually make the hole with almost no space left (10.5mm) and the superglue gets out. this way it looks cleaner

Did you make sure the cylinder was still showing? if you enlarged you may have to drag it down on the Z axis! ( : also double check when you slice to make sure you can see the magnet hole

unknown, but it doesnt matter. Pikki is sticking out a few mm's and by looks of it holds slightly better than the magnets that are embedded
