This design encapsulate a ball bearing maze underneath a layer of clear plastic. I have included 4 versions of the designs for different thickness of clear plastic. 0.5mm,1mm,2mm and 3mm. The Clear plastic circle has a diameter of 88mm. I have included a template if you need to trace it out.
There are 10 different maze designs. When printing make sure to match the correct maze to the base to ensure they assemble correctly. Take not of the file names.
I have also included a few different sized holders depending on how many coasters you want to print off.
Before printing you will need
1 x Maze (Chosen Maze Number)
1 x 2.5mm Ball Bearing
1 x 88mm Diameter clear plastic of chosen thickness
Step 1 x Print 1 x Coaster Base (Chosen Maze Number) (Choosen Thickness) with a slicer pause at the heights below depending on what thickness you have chosen.
For 0.5mm - 4.7mm
For 1mm - 5.3mm
For 2mm - 6.3mm
For 3mm -7.3mm
Step 2 - When the printer pauses
Place maze into the print (Add a tiny bit of glue if required)
Then place the ball bearing
then finally place the clear plastic then continue print.
Everything I tested with was printed at 0.2mm layer heights in PLA.
