The model is amazing, but I have a small thing to mention:
The PlateEnd of the chain doesn’t attach to the underside of the bed, and as a result, after two prints, it starts to move around and begin to rub against the printer.
I’m not sure how you can fix it, but if you find a solution, in my eyes, it would make it perfect.
Aside from that, the piece prints with no issues, plays its role perfectly and I love the look it gives to the A1.
I'm happy you like it!
I made both ends loose so they can have free horizontal movement since they're not aligned to each other. But if they're causing damage to the printer please let me know and I'll try to figure out another way.
Thank you for your input!
I've created a new version of the end link (its the second PrintProfile) to prevent it from rubbing against the removable cover. It’s made in two parts to avoid needing support and just needs a little glue to put together. its been a week now that ive put it on mine and a lot of printing so i think it safe to put it out
I've taken inspiration from Kato, who has made a modification to an existing chain here is the link to it (Bambu Lab A1 - New Heatbed Cable Chain Bracket link: https://makerworld.com/en/models/621410?from=search#profileId-545462).
Let me know what you think!
Print comes out very nice. The only thing is that the rail slide against the bottom plate of the printer because the cable it not parallel to the prindbed. Becouse of this reason I took it out.
