Description

I have halved the cubes in my Infinity Cube. The result was a toy that is almost a puzzle due to its many possible shapes.

Can you find all possible shapes?

As with my Infinity Cubes, defective hinges can also be replaced here. The cubes can also be printed in several colors, without AMS/ MMU.

Printing

You need to print “fidget-cube_s-hinge_half” 4 times, and the hinge 16 times. I recommend the strong version, and to print them with PETG for more flexibility.

Assembly

The assembly is sufficiently explained by the pictures. The individual parts are oriented exactly as they need to be put together.

This model is soo much fun, reminds me of an old toy called Snake with triangles that would pivot on ball-sockets to make loads of shapes, but this is Next Level because you can take the segments apart with those clever S-hinges! Plus, you can combine multiple plates worth of segments to make really elaborate shapes! Hours of fun!
