Summary

inspired by one of the makes of the original design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5441427/ by Groszek), i added a layer with two 8mm holes, each to fit a rare earth magnet with 2.5mm thickness.

the holes are actually 8.2mm, but with the shrinkage, i ended up using a bench vise to clamp the magnets in, without needing any glues, and they fit snugly inside.

printed 30% infill with some random PLA i have on hand. looks good and sticks to any ferrous surface, but also easy to remove
