Disclaimer: There will be stringing o.o;
I needed a moss pole for my new monstera plant to climb up, and I've been on kind of a Kumiko kick lately, so I made one. There are matching threads on the top and bottom of the pole, so if you need it to be longer, you can just print another one and screw them together.
I put sphagnum moss inside the pole and buried it in the soil of my plant's pot. I think it's recommended you use something like cotton string to tie the taller stems to the pole while leaving the new growth free to do it's thing. The pole is pretty skinny, so it's possible this isn't a long term solution unless you want to use multiple as your plant graduates to bigger pots.
As for the stringing - The circular nature of the pattern leaves a lot of flat edges trying to print out in a circle when bridging the gaps, and obviously that's not going to work, so it leaves some strings for the first couple of layers when it gets to a flat part. To me, this isn't really a problem, but does require a little bit of cleanup. You could use supports to stop the stringing, but I feel like that would require even more cleanup for not a much better result, so I just lived with the stringing. I printed two of them on X1-Carbon, and you can see in the picture they look pretty decent.
Anyway, let me know what you think, and Happy Planting ^-^
Edit -
I created a base for the moss pole in case you want something to attach the moss pole to per request of @Mirco87 The bottom of the base is 110.5mm in Diameter and it sits about 100.35mm tall.
