Description

A simple AMS silica holder for beads greater than 2mm.  When assembling insert the pins last.

 

Assembly:

Layout the components.

 

Align the back and front of holder together, there is a lip to make this easier.

 

Attach the lid and screw in the bolt. I recommend screwing and unscrewing it a few times to loosen the screw.

 

Push in the pins to secure back and front together,

 

Changes:

  • Increased strength of build.
  • Split the model into parts to reduce need for supports and to make it easier to print
  • Assembly required, please follow steps below.
  • No longer supplying mono and multicolor print profiles as per Bambu lab recommendations.
  • V1 is still available as its own print profile.

The print profile is no longer public
Support Issue:support was really hard to get off.
Other Issues:the silica beads just slip trough it and go everywhere

I have created a new version V2, to address your concerns. The new design is much easier to print, has less supports and is sturdier. Please can you reprint and let me know what you think. The limitation for beads smaller than 2mm is still in place though.
