I needed a simple wall shelf. This is designed to hold a 6 inch wide shelf roughly ½ inch thick. I was looking for a simple design that hung so you could use the brackets as bookends of sorts. I couldn't find anything that fit my needs so I tossed this together.
I believe the wall mounting screw holes are designed upside-down. I will need to use really big screws or washers when mounting these brackets to the wall.
otherwise, really solid brackets.
If you'd like I can make another file with the screw keyholes in the other direction. but, yes, in this case I did design the shelf to hang "underslung" if you will.
