Description

A simple business card holder inspired by the milwaukee packout system.

There is a model for both the logoed, and un-logoed version.

The internal space is 90mm x 50mm x 56mm and will fit most business cards, gift cards and credit cards.

If you want to fit something larger you could scale the model up as well, although make sure you do this with the grey arms in the standing position.

The hinge can be held on by cutting a piece of filament and gluing in the ends, or with some m3 screws.

I felt my business cards needed a little boost in height so there is an insert piece as well that can be used if your card is slimmer like mine.

This is a simple resize of my airpod pro case and the holes for the arms became a little disfigured leaving a small gap, that doesn't look to bad in my opinion. The arms are printed separately and held in with friction, and may need a couple taps to get them in.

The version pictured is the un-logoed model with some basic cricut vinyl as as sticker. I find this easier than multicolor printing.

Enjoy!

Fits my business cards perfectly! I'm still a new to Fusion so I might have to just glue a Packout cleat on the bottom of it so I can carry them with me. Edit: I used the suggested cleat from the reply to my rating and it worked perfectly. I added a photo of how I mounted it so that others can attach it correctly the first time.

if you really want a packout mount, you can download the one from my other model, the zyn box, and just drill a few holes or enter the holes yourself from the same zyn model. the specific size of the cylinder I used is still there I believe

Thank you! Looks like it’ll work perfectly, I’ll reply back once I’m able to mount it and give it a go.

Fantastic model. I used pla silver silk for the corner pieces and it looks like aluminum. The hinge pin is perfect as well, thanks for that. The print profile could use some work - when printing the logoed version with two colors and support PLA it needs around 220 filament changes. If the box is printed on its back and the supports changed to tree mode it drops to about 14 filament changes total and reduces the filament used by something like 80 grams.

One of the hinges broke but I think it was an issue with the printer, not the model or profile. Otherwise it came out really nice.
