The "Workshop Trolley V2" improves upon the beloved design of the original, bringing enhanced functionality and refined aesthetics to your workspace or hobby area. This charming miniature trolley serves as both a practical organizer for your tools and small components and a stylish addition to your desk or workbench. With a design focused on versatility and ease of use, the V2 version introduces several new features to enhance your organizational experience.

Features:

  • Upgraded Storage Solutions: The V2 trolley retains the four-drawer configuration of the original, but with significant improvements. Each drawer now includes a print-in-place spring mechanism that prevents them from falling out, ensuring your tools and components stay securely in place. Additionally, the handle has been reinforced for extra durability, addressing the fragility issues of the previous version.
  • Improved Functional Wheels: Unlike the V1 model, where the wheels were non-functional, the V2 version introduces fully functional rolling wheels. The front wheels are print-in-place, requiring no assembly, making them ready to roll right off the printer. The back wheels, which must be assembled using small pieces of filament, offer enhanced mobility with the ability to rotate 360 degrees, providing smooth and versatile movement around your workspace.
  • Side Compartments for Extra Storage: The V2 model maintains the side compartments for additional storage, ideal for long tools, screws, or other small accessories that require quick access. This feature maximizes the trolley's storage capacity without compromising on its compact size.
  • Easy Assembly: The V2 version is designed for user-friendliness. While some assembly is required for the back wheels, the overall process is straightforward and manageable, even for beginners. Now printable on A1 Mini in one plate

This new version of the "Workshop Trolley" is perfect for hobbyists, crafters, and anyone who values organization in their workspace. With its expanded features and improved design, the V2 model ensures that all your tools and components are easily accessible and stylishly stored.

This is really well done and looks great next to my 1/10th R/C. Now I just need a scale garage to put them in. Feel free to expand the collection, air compressor, work benches, welders, etc.

Not really. I added it using the tools in the slicer. All I had to do before hand was download and install the font to Windows.

Printed up great with the exception of one of the drawer handle pieces that pulled away from the bed which was entirely user error. Make sure to clean off your build plate. Makes a great jewelry box for partners.

This was such a fun little print! Some tips: - Glue your print bed, some of these parts start out quite thin, and you want really good adhesion - Use Gorilla Glue, and glue the part of the filament that goes into the caster, to the caster itself (btw, it's ~5mm of filament you'll need to mount the casters to the cabinet, and about the same for each of the wheel mounts - so about ~20mm total, which you'll probably have to trim - Use a file for fish hooks/serrated blades to file down the inside of the casters and the outer edges of the wheels, to ensure smooth rolling action! - File down the edges of the drawers and the spring-locks on the drawers as well, to make sure they slide smoothly in and out - Finally, file down where the handles slide onto the top front of the drawers (on the drawers themselves, not the handles) to make it easier to slide the handles on
