Description

“Hey!” This night light features Navi from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - one of the best games of the 90s and, in my opinion, of all time.

This print uses the LED Lamp Kit and includes 3 different designs you can choose from: Zelda & Epona, Zelda & Link or a more simple, swirly pattern. Assembly should be fairly easy and no glue is required.

Parts

  1. Triforce base
  2. Light holder
  3. Orb front & back (file contains 3 different designs - choose whichever you'd like and just print that plate which includes both the front and back)
  4. Large Right Wing
  5. Small Right Wing
  6. Large Left Wing
  7. Small Left Wing

Assembly

Install light into the light holder

  • Note the orientation of the light holder and ensure that the light is facing the same direction as the indicated triangle.
  • No glue should be needed as this is a tight fit.

Install the wings

  • The wing pieces are not interchangeable - note the orientation and shape of the wings in the diagram.
  • The base of the wings are delicate grip them towards the base when installing.
  • Because the wings are installed at angles, use light pressure until you find the correct angle for each wing.
  • No glue should be needed - these are a tight fit.

Place the light assembly on the base

  • No glue should be needed.

Install the orbs

  • Note the orientation of the orbs which have a cutout for the light holder
  • The orb pieces should fit snugly around the light holder
  • The wings should align to the small cutouts in each side of the orb
  • The orbs should stay in place with a pressure fit but glue can be used if needed.

Printing Tips

  • I used a white PETG for all parts but PLA should also work just fine. For the base, I used a Rust-Oleum metallic gold spray-paint on top of the PETG.
  • The orbs are printed using supports
    • The supports for the wing cutouts are quite small but easy to remove - just remember to do this before installing the wings.
    • The main supports for the orb can attach firmly - try squeezing to collapse the supports before gently rocking the back-and-forth as shown below:

I love it! Easy to print and easy to assemble, all I need is the light and it’s good to go!

very nice. I accidentally printed the orb with no supports and it turned out great with just a couple strings. Def going to need a little glue for the orb to stay together. Currently spraying the stand in gold. I used glow pla for the wings and white on the orb.
