Description

Mini Pumpkins and Skulls to use as desk decorations, party favors for Halloween or dollhouse decorations.
Easy print without wasteful color changes. Pumpkin parts press-fit together while skulls print-in-place.

Each pumpkin and skull is roughly 3cm in diameter.
One profile prints 4 pumpkins on a single A1 mini plate, the other profile prints 4 skulls on a single A1 mini plate.

General 3d Printing Tips

  • Make sure your printing plate is clean! Oils from your skin will cause adhesion issues for your prints. Regularly wash your print plate with a detergent like Dawn and avoid touching the surface when removing prints from the bed.
  • If it's an option on your printer, always opt to level the bed before each print. If you have to perform this manually, make sure you do this after every few prints. It takes a bit of time and patience, but it's a fair trade for reliable prints.
  • Ensure bed and nozzle temperatures are within the expected range for the material you are printing. Temperatures that are too high or too low will affect the print negatively by causing warping, malformed layers or adhesion issues.
  • Reduce your printing speed. Slower print speed is especially important for overhangs because it gives the material more time to cool as it's deposited.

does not all fit on p1s build plate, the pumpkins print off the right side and cannot print. ( Problem resolved read comments for info ).

I don't understand... Did you try to merge two plates into one? It should work fine if you print the profiles as I published them.

I also had the same issue with the pumpkins and my P1S, i printed from the app.. The 2nd pumpkin is right at the edge of the build plate. At 1st I thought i used the wrong print profile so I tried a 2nd time but same issue. I think if the pumpkins were moved just slightly to the left it should be good.

I'll see if I can move them over a bit. Hopefully printing by object doesn't get in the way. I'm surprised it's not translating well to P1S because the plate is so much bigger than the mini. Thank you for the boost! To confirm, you mean move them in the direction of the red arrows?

print profile is good, but don't scale it down. I printed skull at 35% and it broke nose when scraping print from build plate.

That was a daring attempt. Sorry to see it did not work out. Since you are printing on textured plate, you might be have to make this work if you wait for the plate to cool completely. Taking it off the printer usually speeds up the process. Once it's completely cooled the print might just slide off and not require a scraper at all. I really do appreciate your still giving a fair review to the model. Thank you for your fairness. I'll see if I can make a more robust mini-mini version :)

Yeah. It's my fault. I tried to make it smaller for a keychain, but sadly walls are too thin to use it that way :P Your model is good!

I made the walls thicker and posted a profile that prints 4 in shrinking scale. https://makerworld.com/en/models/614112#profileId-549057

a couple of the teeth on two of them didn’t make it, but it might be the filament I used. so I’ll still have a 5 stars

Thank you for the rating! Sorry to see the teeth. Although that might be desirable for skulls here. they look cute :) It looks like supports were turned off? they should be on when using the profile I uploaded.

Printed perfectly. My son has already claimed a skull for himself, so very well done.
