this has nothing to do with your design, but anyone else do this? this is the original size. the rubber bands keep them from potentially slipping off

OK, so I apologize for not looking at the term for this, but I’m referring to the four springs. I printed them in PLA and they are cracking in the middle. They still work, but they have lost their spring to a certain degree. Would you suggest maybe printing it differently or in ABS or PETG? I don’t have either of those right now, but I do have some PLACF. I printed them using two walls for flexibility. Do you think I should use more walls? also what kind of infill do you suggest?

Im absolutely not an expert in filament types and all. But i believe because PETG is more rigid .. it will not function properly for leaf springs.

Throwing arm broke, so I took the STL and converted it back to a solid body and added a 10mm brace along to top. Leaf springs printed from PETG, as is the throwing arm. All other parts in PLA CF. Pins scaled up a little bit for a snug fit and sellotape added to rings that fit into the outer supports for a better fit. It's got some power behind it!!

POWERFUL Made springs and throwing arm out of PETG, 6 walls since people were citing throwing arm breaking. Assembling and the clips broke on the front and back plates when trying to clip in - so reprinted with 6 walls, that seemed to work. Then launched (with POWER) and the middle plate clips broke due to the force. Rather than reprint at 6 walls, I printed a little cross support to slide in. Then the (blue) 'stop' shattered. Using it without, hopefully it doesn't break itself anymore.

how big is the basket at 210%? wondering if a pickleball will fit in it.

as its not a completely round basket .. its about 6,5 to 7cm in diameter. But that edge is not the widest of its projectile. Which would probably be between 7 and 7,5 cm (estimate) How big is a Pickleball?

tennis/baseball sized, or about I’d say 7.5 cm

Required adding a brace to the throwing arm, which I did by converting the STL back to a solid shape. Works a treat once that upgrade was mode. Very powerful!!
