Description

I love the passthrough chess pieces so much I decided to make my own. Here is the ROOK piece.

 

This is a print-in-place design. Print in different colors, separate, mix & match.

 

Press slightly on the bottom to separate.

I think the top needs to be connected like the bottom. Printed in PETG and it still broke after a few uses.

Appreciate that feedback. I have not tested these in PETG, only PLA so far. I'll add a print profile that has an extra connection on the top as you suggested. Stay tuned. Thanks!

The rooks work very well. With my X1C I was able to place 4 rooks in 2 colors on one plate, then mix them up. All good.

This profile worked great and is much stronger with the top connected. I printed several of the version 2 in a couple of filaments for testing. I liked how this printed in place rather than as two separate parts. I was able to print multiple ones on a single plate this way.
