I use the LaserCube as a lightpainting tool but pointing the laser towards the camera with the extender lens creates a bright spot in the middle even if there is no laser pointing directly towards the camera. To avoid this problem I designed this screen that hides the reflection from the camera. Since this basically is also a good physical security screen I thought I share this.
There are several clamps included that clip to the extender lens directly. One with a short and one with a long arm and also variants that have a full ring that goes around the base of the extender lens for use if the screen gets too heavy.
There are several disc sizes to be used depending on the projection pattern to have more control of how much of the projection area gets covered.
Also included is a template screen holder if anyone wants do design a screen with another shape then discs.
The lightpaiting photo is an example of what I do with this setup. I included this because I often get asked for examples and what kind of art I create with my designs.
