Also known as the Electric Delivery Van, the Rivian EDV was first delivered to and used by amazon in 2021, before expanding to more facilities and eventually being available for Purchase by other companies under the name “ECV” in 2023. The sleek and futuristic design are a treat to look at as it makes its way to deliver packages, and this model seeks to emulate that design.
It is important to note that when printing in multicolor, I recommend going to the “Flushing Volumes” setting, then reducing to around 50% on the Amazon version, and 60-75% on the white/regular version to save material and time, or even reducing scale to 60-75% to save more, adjust to your desired level of detail. there will of course always have to be some loss in detail when doing this, so be careful how much you scale down. Please make sure to select which colors You'd like to use for the headlights on the Amazon version of the vehicle, as without a second AMS 5 colors is not possible. default is white, if you don't have a second AMS you'll have to change to another color such as red or light blue. If you do have a second AMS, I recommend making the headlights orange and the “prime” text on both sides white for the best accuracy to the real deal.
UPDATE: Added two new print profiles, “Less Colors per Layer" and “Two Colored Versions”. The first includes two more versions, both being unicolor below the fenders (I.E. Fog lights on the back and sides and Bolts on Rims). The second is the least wasteful by far, with a full unicolor chassis and only two colors, being black and white. While you will lose some details like windshield and tail light discernment, you'll cut down on material used significantly. comes in amazon and regular Versions, modify painted details to your liking. Both of these profiles will make it so that there are less colors per layer, thus less purged material, if you don't mind the loss in accuracy to the real thing.
Added a new print profile, “Multi part for easier printing”. You may need superglue for the rear tires, depending on the scale you are printing at. currently only in unicolor, but color to your preference. I suggest using “normal” or “normal manual” support, and even Support for PLA for the support interface if you have it. make sure to copy and paste two front tires if you are printing from STL rather than the 3MF file.

If you like my work, Boosting is greatly appreciated! in addition to supporting me, it also helps others find my work, as this vehicle hasn't been modeled up to this point (to my knowledge).
Enjoy and Happy printing!
