Description

A Pokéball dock for the Anker 313 Wireless Charging pad.

The assembly instructions below show an unpainted model but I would recommend sanding and painting before you assemble.

You will need:

Anker 313 Wireless Charging pad

x1 Hidden barrel hinge (8mm diameter)

x2 mini magnets (2mm x 1mm)

Glue

To assemble:

Slot the charger cradle into the bottom half of the Pokeball (the bottom half will have the hole at the back for the power cable) Once you're happy everything lines up, glue these two pieces together.

Take the top half of the Pokeball and fit the hinge. The hinge should slot in to about the halfway point and should open pointing away from you if holding the model as the photo below. Once you're happy with the placement, glue in place, making sure not to get any glue in the moving parts of the hinge.

Fit the two halves together once the glue has dried. The opening of the hinge should line up with the top of the charger cradle. Once you're happy with the fit, glue in place.

Glue the magnets into the holes on the front of the bottom half and the back of the button

Using the magnets as a guide, apply glue to the top third of the button and attach to the top half of the Pokeball as shown below.

This is a great way to charge your phone with its unique personality. It's very colorful and it reminds me of when I was a kid.
