Neat little survival capsule I keep in each of my hiking backpacks.
This design features a main chamber and a screw-on cap within the main cap itself. I use these to store matches and a source of easy to light fire starting material in the top cap in case I need these while out hiking.
The “bucket” which rests inside the cap is a very tight fit, to keep things as sealed as possible, and depending on your printers tolerance and type of filament, you might need to wrestle a bit to get it on. I found that screwing it on until i feel resistance and turning it back and forth until the friction removes a tiny amount of material works best.
There is a second optional plate which contains a TPU-ring to be placed in the top of the cap to act as a gasket, further lowering the chance of water penetrating the capsule.
