This is a 3D printed tripod design for the Nothing CMF 1 Phone.
You are able to extend the legs by unscrewing the base and pulling down (and then re screwing the part in place) and rotate your phone in 45° increments.
Assembly:
Once you have printed all the parts take the two parts shown in the image below and screw the two piece together and then unscrew a couple time, with each time going tougher in. This is done just in case the threads bite. It is easier to apply more force now rather than when the legs are attached. Once done put the smaller part back down.
Get the longer part that you just had, the octagon part, the back piece and 6 x BT2x14 SHCS Self tapping screws [AA193]. you will be screwing the octagon part and the longer handle part together, and sandwiching the the back panel.
NOTE: when screwing the octagon part to the handle make sure the top of the octagon is flat like in the image below
Get the front panel, the two spring parts and 4 m2x8 FHCS Machine Screw [AA072]. Clip the plastic spring parts into their holders and from the back of the front panel screw in the screws. Dont screw them all the way through and they are used to attach the front and back part together. Leave them like the image below.
The take both parts you have been working on and screw them together, using the screw you screwed in the last step.
is the part is sticking out one one of the side, rotate the last assembly 180° around.
Next take the legs and the other threaded part and 3 BT2x14 SCHS Self Tapping Screws [AA193] and screw this part together. Repeat for each leg.
Once finished it should look like this .
Use the top thread when the legs are hidden as a selfie stick or vlog stick and then to get the tripod go to the bottom thread and open up the legs.
Any question feel free to ask and I'm happy to here some suggestion. - This project was for the Nothing CMF phone contest.
