Super simple AAA to AA adapter, will need a M3x4 bolt to account for the length difference between AA and AAA.

The second hollow cylinder is not strictly needed, but allows the battery to stay in place better.

the fit is a bit loose, doesn't really hold onto the battery but works well in a mouse

Not a tight fit around the AAA battery, but works great. Needs a small screw to take up the difference in length between the AAA and AA battery sizes. I was using a mains powered adapter, so the capacity difference was not an issue for me. Works perfectly with Home Depot part: M3-0.5x4mm Zinc Pan Head Phillips Drive Machine Screw Product Information Internet # 321071684 Model # 837881 Store SKU # 1008005547
