Description

This remix removes the need for the hex nut, and makes it available to the Bambu native ecosystem.

"We designed this to mount cell phones of any size to camera tripods, even if you have a phone case and a pop socket attached. The best part is that it is almost 100% 3d printed! You just need a 1/4"-20 hex nut and, optionally, two short adhesive foam strips to protect the phone from scratching and increase the grip.

This should work on most different types of tripod plates (Oben, Ambico, Manfrotto, Arca Swiss, generic ones, etc) but you should definitely check the stem.stl file to verify this. It has a pocket to fit the 1/4"-20 nut and a slot for the alignment pin we see on some tripod quick-release plates." -@twothingies

Good design, I increased the knob x y dimensions by 102% to get it to fit well. and added a cold shoe for an external mic.

The screw is very difficult to insert One must first screw it onto the thread several times with considerable force to abrade any remaining filament

The screw is difficult to tighten, but turning it many times over the same thread loosens it. I also found it difficult to remove the recommended support in the nut. Maybe something to improve. At the end, amazing result never the less.
