I would like to introduce you to my newest model, an American medium tank. My main goal was to make the tracks and tower movable, just like in a real machine. we were able to do it. When assembling the model, you need to use glue in two places, the rest of the connections are press-fit. When assembling the tracks, you should attach one link to the other by first inserting one side and then, by bending the plastics, attach the other side. The first layers of tracks should be printed at speed 0.5. The track plate was printed from filament: https://eu.store.bambulab.com/en-pl/products/pla-basic-filament?variant=46892984828252

and the rest of this:

Great Model ! Superb accuracy. I defnitely appreciate the Press-fit for all the suspension parts and the gun mantlet. It is an improvement compared to your other design such as the Tiger where we needed to glue everything. However, I had issues with the tracks. They are more difficult to assemble and you can see in the picture that they suffer from shrinkage. I used the same setting and filament that when I printed your Tiger. The Tiger tracks were flawless. Missing layer on turret, please fix!

Had the same issue with the poor finish on the turret part. Seems like an issue with the model as I cannot add supports here.

Disabling the shade smooth option in the 3D model can help solve the problem with the curvature of the plane. To use the shade smooth and the surface does not bend, it is necessary to add edges to the corners of the 3D model for rigidity. Overall, the model is super. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Отключение опции shade smooth в 3D-модели может помочь решить проблему с кривизной плоскости. Чтобы использовать shade smooth и поверхность не прогибалась, необходимо добавить дополнительные ребра по углам 3D-модели для жесткости.

I'm currently printing this model, but the biggest issue I'm seeing from others (and this was consistent for the tiger model too) was the treads. Looking at the model, I think they'd benefit a lot if the "hollow" sections of the tread where the press-fit 'male' nubs fits into the 'female' cylindrical hole (for lack of better jargon) were more solid. The hole for the nubs to fit into goes straight through the width of the entire tread when it really only needs to have the outer edges be hollow for the press fit. I hope I'm making sense here. other than that you're models are freaking beautiful and I'm glad to have the Easy-8 on display. You're an insanely great modeler but do try to consider how your designs will be manufactured while modelling. All the love from the US though <3. I'll add pics when I'm done printing
