Description

Made to be printed face down on a textured plate, giving it a nice top finish.

These are designed to be used with a 2mm thick, 100mm diameter cork coaster with adhesive backing. I used these ones:

I print these as a set of 4 and have included a holder as well. For the bottom of the holder I use these rubber stops:

Both the cork and the rubber stops give the coasters a nice feel, and help to prevent any sliding around.

Please note: You may have to adjust some settings slightly to get your printer to fully close the gaps between colors, these are just the values that work for me.

These are awesome! I don't have a textured plate, so I flipped them over in the slicer and added a Hilbert Curve to the top surface and it gave it a great non slip texture.

Nice Model! One suggestion to printers - Manually define the filament print order. White - Yellow - Black. Until I did this I had a few imperfections (black in white areas) on 7 of the 8 prints. After defining filament print order starting with white I got perfect 4/4 print.

good tip! I thought i had that defined in my print profile though.. ill have to go back and check! As a general rule, whenever I print coasters, I always print from lightest to darkest

Hey, I guess mabey it was just the filament I used. When I printed this I could see the Boston logo from the other side of the coaster. It was probably just my filament, do you know of any way to change the rating to 5 stars?

No need to change! I appreciate the feedback They're designed a little thinner due to the cork backings. I wanted to keep material cost down, and with the backings you won't see through them at all. If you don't want to use the backings, change scale in the Z only, ill have to add that to my upload!
